Entertainment – SAMXCAS: Double Trouble, Dynamic Afrobeat Fusion

Introduction Meet SAMXCAS, the dynamic Nigerian and British identical twin duo, Samantha and Casilda Okanlawon. They’re bringing a fresh, New Age, Urban Afrobeat Fusion sound to the global stage. About Me We are Samantha and Casilda, identical twin sisters from Nigeria and Britain. We’ve honed our craft with extensive training and professional experience in TV, film, and commercials across the UK, USA, and Nigeria. Now, we’re channeling that diverse background into our unique Afrobeat Fusion sound. Musical Journey We’re blessed to live between the UK and Nigeria, which allows us to experience both environments and gather endless inspiration. Our journey into music really took off when we moved to Lagos to pursue our musical dreams with plans to tour the world. From drama school and performing arts to live theatre, we’re now pouring all those skills into our sound, creating something truly unique. Signature Style At this point, we’re still actively exploring our sound. Currently, we’re deeply invested in Afrofusion and rap, and we plan to continue evolving and making music within these vibrant styles. Notable Achievements We’re proud of our first two features: one with Hotkeed and another with Jeriq. These collaborations were significant steps in our journey. Existing Projects Better Days (2025) Progress (2024) Bad (2024) No Time (2024) Future Plans for Our Brand Our future plans include consistent music releases, more exciting collaborations, extensive networking, and building a strong marketing team to share our music with the world. Influences and Inspirations Our dual heritage heavily shapes our music and identity. Growing up in Hackney, UK, our older brother influenced our taste, introducing us to Old School R&B, UK Grime, and Rap via “Channel U.” Family remains our ultimate inspiration.
